In this edition, in addition to a collective of represented artists, a special room will be created with a project by the multidisciplinary artist Froiid from Minas Gerais. The artist creates a project based on the story by writer João Antônio (1937-1996), "Malaguetas, Perus e Bacanaço", from 1963. Creating a room with paintings, objects and a sound installation, Froiid proposes an approach in which he delves into the layers of the São Paulo author's narrative, using elements such as billiards and the rhythm of samba. The paintings echo the influences of artists who approached this theme, testifying to the complexity of this universe.

SP–Arte celebrates 20 years in 2024, and over these two decades, it has played a crucial role in the professionalization, growth, and promotion of the national art market. Additionally, it has stimulated the emergence of new intermediaries and propelled the internationalization of Brazilian art. There are many achievements to be celebrated.
